Handing on success!
PASCHAL International Symposium and Workshop
International meeting of managers from 26 to 28 April 2009Other countries, other customs – this also applies to PASCHAL-Werk G. Maier GmbH, by now active in more than 40 countries.
But why re-invent the wheel 40 times? There’s no need, was the view of the PASCHAL Executive Board and Advisory Committee when they invited executives and sales managers from PASCHAL subsidiaries to a symposium and workshop in Steinach.
The open-air museum at Vogtsbauernhof in the Black Forest was the destination for PASCHAL managers on Monday afternoon, 27 April. Methods used by farmers for more than 400 years showed how minimal resources plus ingenuity and application can find solutions that still work and which are surpassed only by modern technology.
Even though the guests came from different countries, serving different markets with different building methods, wage and salary structures, requirements and laws, they still had a lot in common. That’s why it’s not only know-how that makes it possible to offer sophisticated products and outstanding service.
At the PASCHAL International Symposium and Workshop, participants presented their country, their company and themselves, as well as their strengths, their successes and how they had managed to be where they are now. The presentation by Michael Stoevelbaek, CEO of PASCHAL Denmark, was especially impressive. Other participants came from Bahrain, Germany, Dubai, France, India, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and the Ukraine.
The chairman of the PASCHAL Board, Udo Vetter, summed it up: "PASCHAL International – all of us together!"
In her closing words, Barbara R. Vetter summed up by saying that the meeting had been a great success, and that the actual work of integration and progress could now begin.
