Forming and concreting safely, quickly and economically with systems from PASCHAL.
Working efficiency and the economic execution of construction work are directly interlinked. In concrete constructions in particular occupational safety plays a special role as work here is carried out at great heights, i.e. at significant fall heights. In a current publication from the German Construction Employers' Liability Association (BG Bau), it is stated that slightly more than half (52%) of all accidents at work that occur on construction sites involve falls. The German Construction, Agriculture and Environment Industrial Trade Union (IG BAU) has published the following overview in its appraisal:
Accidents in relation to the fall height
Fall height | Accidents involving falls with injuries |
Accidents involving falls with a fatal outcome |
< 3 metres | 47,6 % | 25,0 % |
3 – 5 metres | 29,8 % | 16,7 % |
5 – 10 metres | 20,2 % | 37,5 % |
> 10 metres | 2,3 % | 18,1 % |
Fall height not known | 2,8 % |
Systems from PASCHAL distinguish themselves with their quality, practical orientation and integrated safety devices.
In both the development and the further development of products, all necessary statutory provisions, requirements and civil engineering standards as well as the building inspectorate guidelines are taken into account by PASCHAL to ensure the highest possible level of occupational safety.
This is impressively evident with respect to the complete systems.
PASCHAL is well known for its formwork and shoring systems which always provide the construction company involved with a complete solution and with which upcoming formwork and concreting tasks can be carried out precisely, economically and safely.
The commissioned construction task is of no importance. For underground construction, structural engineering or infrastructure projects and no matter whether it is large construction sites or rectangular, oblique-angled or circular concrete constructions, all types of geometry can be realised flexibly using the systems from PASCHAL. A large number of construction projects all over the world have impressively resulted in successful constructions.
In the area of occupational safety, all the necessary formwork and concret-ing work is investigated by PASCHAL and precautionary measures to guarantee occupational safety are integrated wherever possible. This is true with respect to the upper edge of the formwork when pouring the concrete, the safe ascent and descent to formwork at great heights, pre-assembly and the further processing of pre-cast concrete elements. PASCHAL considers the requirements in a comprehensive and holistic manner and provides combinable complete solutions.
Occupational safety made by PASCHAL:
All work can only be carried out quickly, correctly and therefore efficiently from secured work places, and, as such, secure work places enable forming and concreting work to be performed quickly and cost effectively.
The three following safety features are always included in PASCHAL systems.
1. A safe work place at the upper end of the formwork with front protection
2. Safe work levels
3. Safe ascents and descents
Completed system solutions
Multip, the multi-functional working platform
Multip from PASCHAL fulfils even the most stringent safety standards and increases work efficiency during forming and concreting. Assembly is performed quickly and easily with the formwork element lying on the ground and therefore hazardous situations are reduced considerably. After the Multip has been fixed to the formwork, the system merely needs to be unfolded. At PASCHAL, the ladders, coverings and railings are of course integrated into the complete system unit so that the complete unit can be transported and set up without having to assemble component parts and without the need for on-site additions or modifications.
The setting and releasing of connecting pieces, the attaching or removing of crane attachments and also the releasing of fixed tierods can be carried out quickly and safely. When the formwork units are moved, the Multip remains attached to the formwork and is then simply moved together with the formwork.
Multip, the multi-functional working platform, is suitable for use with a variety of formwork systems, the version for the LOGO.3 is shown here. Ladders, platforms and handrails are securely installed. They can be folded together for transportation using a special mechanism.
Concreting platform for the LOGO.3 wall formwork system
The platform unit is tailored to the LOGO.3 formwork system and, at a length of 238 cm, is 2 cm shorter than the 240 cm wide formwork panel. The width of 120 cm provides a sufficient walking and working area. The LOGO concreting platform as a complete and folding system unit includes all component parts: working area, rear safety protection, crane attachments and brackets.
After being unfolded, the concreting platform ensures comprehensive occupational protection.

Precast wall adapter for the concreting platform
To make the concreting of erected precast walls safer, PASCHAL has developed the precast wall adapter that enables the LOGO.3 concreting platform to also be mounted on precast wall elements.
The precast wall adapter also enables the universal use of the concreting platform on precast walls.
Column formwork with safe ascent and working platform
From the example of the Grip column formwork, it is clear that with the PASCHAL systems safety at work is also guaranteed even when concreting and using formwork on narrow constructions.
Grip adjustable column formwork is designed according to the principle of windmill sails and is delivered to the construction site as a complete system with adjustable props, working platform and ladder securely connected to the work level.
For transportation, the Grip formwork is folded up to save space. The folding mechanism also simplifies the moving of the column formwork with just one crane lift.
Grip column formwork is delivered as a complete system unit and is folded up to save space.
Greater column heights can be achieved by simply placing on top of each other.
Safe climbing at great heights is made possible by the climbing systems from PASCHAL
With its sophisticated and flexible climbing brackets, PASCHAL can provide system solutions that can be adapted perfectly to specialised building structures and construction situations at great heights and can therefore give the construction company an advantage in terms of flexibility and time savings.
Climbing brackets from PASCHAL can be combined with all formwork systems.
For safer forming and concreting at great heights, PASCHAL provides the 240 climbing system and the KBK 180 climbing platform.
The climbing units consist of climbing brackets that are rigid or adjustable, adjustable props for supporting the formwork, coverings, railings and suspended scaffolding when necessary.
The KBK climbing platform is a folding working and protective scaffold unit that is delivered fully fitted to the construction site. After the rear safety protection and the platform have been folded open, the KBK is ready to use and is mounted by a crane on the wall as a protection and safety-catch scaffold.
The Z-21.6-2042 General Technical Approval for the M30/DW15 climbing cone provides PASCHAL customers with an anchoring system that is approved for the anchoring of the 240 climbing system, the 200 climbing installation, the KBK 180 climbing platform, the dam brackets and the klik klak beam lifting platform.
