System formwork in corporate design
The PASCHAL plant offers formwork panels in any company colourCompany colours make a big difference in a company’s image. One only needs to stop for a moment and think of how familiar such colours as yellow (postal service), magenta (telephone service), blue (hand cream), or silver (racing car) are.
On this level, corporate design is a matter for the top management.
One increasingly sees equipment on construction sites that is not in the equipment manufacturer’s colours, but in the company colours of the construction company. That which was initially only possible for large vehicles is now also available for concrete formwork.
A strong orange colour has been the PASCHAL manufacturer’s colour for all formwork panels since 2009.
Steinach (Baden)
Until now concrete formwork has commonly only been available in the colours of the respective manufacturer. Initially these were colours that promised the most in benefits, at the most moderate of prices: inconspicuous, providing rust protection for the steel frames, and as impact resistant and scratchproof as possible, as well as weather resistant in order to meet the demanding conditions on the construction site.
All this changed after the branch became more self confident. They began to look for products that also used colour to distinguish them from the competition. As marketing tool, colour had finally arrived in the formwork industry.
Company colours as hallmark
When modern industrial buildings are built, the required concrete wall formwork quickly adds up to several dozen square metres. Even the use of several hundred square metres of concrete formwork at different construction sites is common. Viewed this way, concrete formwork can be very effective visually as advertising, especially on construction sites with a central location. Add to that the fact that they are made in company colours, and you have a marketing and advertising effect that is loud and clear.
Production
In standard production all formwork panels produced at the main plant in Steinbach (Baden) are given the manufacturer’s colour of orange. To accomplish this they go through several dipping, curing and finishing processes.
For technical and economical reasons, custom colours for small series cannot be applied to formwork panels in this way. However, small series production usually also costs slightly more than conventional large series production.
Formwork panels are created when the frame and plywood are brought together. Apart from colour, these panels are technically identical with other series panels manufactured until now.
Colours can be chosen from the RAL palette, from a range of a few hundred matt, glossy and metallic colours. This means that almost every company colour can be ordered.
Formwork panels
Until now there has only been a demand for panels in company colours from the LOGO formwork system. But in principle also the radii-adjustable Trapezoidal Girder Formwork as well as panels of Modular/GE universal formwork are available in company colours.
Available as contact persons are the formwork consultants and the management personnel of the marketing team for Germany (Michael Göhringer, Tel. 07832 / 71-254, michael.goehringer@paschal.de)
At the plant they are transported using a fork lift.
The next batches of various colours are ready for pick up.
