PASCHAL art
Symbol of international collaborationJust as there is a Colt with a twisted barrel in front of the UN building and a bear or bull in front of many stock exchanges, PASCHAL International also needed its own symbol.
PASCHAL opted for a steel sculpture.
Art as symbol
The head of the Construction Department, engineer Uwe Hägerich, designed a galvanised steel pole from which five steps branch off clockwise at 45 degrees, forming a sort of rising staircase. A 45-degree inclined crosswise orange steel frame of an element from our modular universal formwork is affixed to each of the lower four steps. A small pennant with the flag of the country where it is manufactured hangs from each element.
The sculpture is located in the courtyard between the rear of the administration block and the new production building, among the flowers of a freshly planted border.
It was unveiled on 28 April by Barbara R. Vetter before guests at the inauguration party for the new production building.
